Prohibited Items Guidelines

  • While most things can be sold on KFA Marketplace, certain items are not allowed.

The following items are not allowed for sale:

  1. Keycap Clones - If you don’t know whether your keycaps are considered clones, please reach out to KFA MARKETPLACE#3319 on Discord prior to submitting, we are here to help regarding any inquiries related to this guideline.
    Note : If you feel as though some items currently on the website violate this guideline, please reach out to KFA MARKETPLACE#3319 on Discord and we will review.
  2. Keyboard Clones - i.e. Kalam etc.
  3. Lube - We physically cannot verify and check that the lube has not been tampered with.

Posting Rules for Sellers

  • To help make the buying and selling experience enjoyable and fair for everyone, please follow these guidelines when posting items.
  1. Images

To allow buyers to get the most accurate representation of the item(s) you’re selling, please:

    • Always include an actual image of the item you took. Posts with no image, or with an image of an item taken from another website or another seller on the Marketplace will not be posted and will result in an immediate ban.
    • Examples of images not allowed: Stock Images taken from another vendor's website to display the product you are selling. (These include kitting of Keycaps).
    • Include high-quality, well-lit photos.
    • If we feel as though your images do not accurately represent the item(s) you are selling, we will not list them.

 

Images for Keyboards:

Starting {Insert Date} if your keyboard does not include switches and/or keycaps mounted, please DO NOT include images of your keyboard with them mounted. Please only include images of item(s) that are being sent in the pictures. Posts of keyboards that violate this guideline will not be listed. 

    1. Built Keyboards:
      • Definition: The Keyboard(s) you are selling includes switches and/or keycaps assembled on the PCB inside the case.
      • Your Keyboard is considered built if it includes switches/keycaps that are mounted on the pcb inside the case of the keyboard. If the switches and/or keycaps are included in the post BUT on the side but not mounted, it is not considered assembled/built.
      • If the Keyboard comes with only Stabilisers on the PCB it is not Built.
      • NOTE: If your keyboard comes built (i.e. the PCB is inside the case, please make sure the Daughterboard cable is connected to the JST connector on the PCB is applicable).
    2. Unbuilt Keyboards:
      • Definition: The Keyboard(s) you are selling does not include switches and/or keycaps assembled on the PCB inside the case.

      •  Your keyboard is considered disassembled/unbuilt if it does not come with switches/keycaps that are mounted on the pcb inside the case of the keyboard. If the switches and/or keycaps are included in the post BUT on the side and not mounted, it IS considered unbuilt.
